I heard this song by accident while flicking between kerrang and scuzz 1 afternoon. I rarely stick around to listen to a song I haven't heard before but the first few notes of this song were very reminiscent of Placebo and I decided to give it a chance.

The song does indeed have placebo influences, from the haunting minor keys to the almost 'basic fun keyboard' sounding riffs. I'm shorlty going to buy the album as this song really did stick in my head, but the only thing that stopped it getting 5 stars is the singing. He's trying to be Chester from Linkin Park, mixing smooth, heart felt vocals with screaming worthy of a scandinavian death metal band. The unfortunate thing is this contrast could work so well in a song like this but it's over done far too much and left me wondering whether this is a plausible band for placebo fans to get into (high praise indeed!), or a confused rock band verging on pop metal. The album will hopefully tell!
