First heard this on what must have been a session or demo, and loved it. Finally got around to buying this single and discovered it was a different recording - better quality but with an annoying "atmospheric interference" running through the whole song (must be the producer thinking too much and getting his way). Apart from that small disappointment, the song is funky-indie guitar pop with fab lyrics about a relationship which will never reach great heights ("She'll never take you to giddy stratospheres".) The shadow of Siouxsie is there, as are musical references to past indie girl groups like The Slits. All the better for that, I say.
