Humphreys (UK) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)    I just bought the TomTom Navigator 6 complete with bluetooth GPS and complete Western Europe Maps on SD card. The GPS works fine and it was great having everything on an SD card instead of having to copy from a CD-ROM. The software and bluetooth perform better than the wired TomTom GPS and Navigator 3/5 versions that I had previously used. My one complaint is that I am restricted to using the GPS on just one PDA, not that I had thought this might be a problem when I bought it. Now my XDA Exec has developed a fault and it is just one month outside of the warranty period. This means I will need to buy a new PDA and new GPS, as TomTom will not allow me to install the system on a different machine. I don't expect this will cause many people a problem but do be aware of this restriction if you feel you may need to change your PDA as I am about to. So far I have had a week's use from the TomTom Navigator 6 before my XDA Exec failed - at £166 that is an expensive week's GPS use. Comment Comments (3) | Permalink | Was this review helpful to you?
