New concept, new style. The S10 may be small in size, but it does not leave any useful functions behind. It supports a number of codec types including MP3, WMA, ASF, and OGG (including Q10), allows 8-hour simultaneous play, and accommodates other basic functions. At the same time, complementary functions such as the FM radio reception/recording, image viewer, voice recording, timer, alarm, and portable data storage.

This is a fantastic mp3 player if you're looking for something tiny and ultra-portable. It's barely bigger than a postage stamp and is perfect for listening to when out jogging. I found the navigation system simple and easy to use, the headphones are fine, and the iRiver software couldn't be simpler. The downside is the radio receiver, which has fairly patchy reception (this is due to the device rather than the location as my Sony portable radio has perfect receptor). It would also benefit from a "lock" button. Overall very pleased and think it's good value for money.

This was my forth iriver player, but the first to be returned for a refund. The key problem is that it does not support WMA-DRM something that is pretty vital to me (and many other non-ipod users) and is different from most other iriver players. Beware.

It's a really good product, but if you will loose your charging plug/connector you're doomed (like I am now) as you can't really buy any replacement, so the whole player becomes useless..
