    28 cm. BOXED with full care/use instructions.

    Stoneware dishes are so versatile that it is easy to find a reason to have all shapes and sizes, and this one is no exception.

    My favourite recipe in this dish is the 'Bailey's Crème Brûlée', from the super Gary Rhodes book:-
    'Keeping It Simple'.
    Being able to pop the whole dish under the grill to melt the sugar just adds that finishing touch!

    Easy to clean by hand or pop it in the dishwasher.
    STONEWARE dishes cannot be used ON direct heat.

    I won't bore you with lots of technical details that, frankly, arn't required. All i need to say is this; i love this item! My dad bought it for me for my birthday & it was the best thing i got. So far i've made fish pie, macaroni cheese, bread & butter pudding & used it for making stuffing. It's excellent & i don't really know why i didn't think of getting one myself. As with all Le Creuset it's very versatile, the only thing you can't do is put it straight onto the heat like over open flames or on cooking rings other than that it's perfect & i wouldn't want to live without it.
    A great item for under £20 quid!

    I love these dishes - I have two , this one and a larger rectangular one. I have burnt pasta and spare ribs in them, made shepherd's pies and all sorts and they always look great and clean up to look as good as new. Just soak overnight and in the morning the burnt food seams to float off. We are a family of three, and this dish is just the right size for, say, a fish pie for three/four. For six people you need to go up to the larger size.
