Synopsis
Includes the James Bond films GOLDFINGER, THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, and GOLDENEYE. In GOLDFINGER, James Bond attempts to foil Auric Goldfinger's plan to contaminate Fort Knox's gold with atomic radiation, thus increasing the value of Goldfinger's own hoard of gold. In THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, James Bond is assigned the task of recovering a valuable piece of technical equipment capable of harnessing the sun's energy. Standing in his way are a number of arch-villains. In GOLDENEYE, James Bond is pitted against a gang of Russian mobsters and former military men who have gained access to the Goldeneye, which can cut off electrical currents in London.

Actually, the three best., 5 Dec 2006 By  Ryan Corr "King Business" (Modus Operandi, New Hampshire) - See all my reviews I actually laughed when I saw this boxset was being released, as my friend and I used to comment on how the three best JB movies were the 'Gold Trilogy' ones, as we called them. And then they went and released it!! Now the whole world can appreciate them as a whole. You get Goldfinger, the definitive Bond movie, Goldeneye, the BEST Bond movie, and The Man With The Golden Gun, with the best baddie, Christopher Lee. And three discs of bonus features, old and new. I always said to my friends, "How come the three best Bond movies all have Gold in." My friend said "Gold means good!" The best Bond films are in this pack. Sean Connery confronts a deadly enemy in Goldfinger, who turns everything into gold - Auric Goldfinger. In The Man With The Golden Gun, Christopher Lee stars as Francisco Scaramanga, an assassin who plans to use solar energy for destructive purposes, and GoldenEye.
