The Sansa C250 does a great job as a small portable music player, and is one of a very few products which allows the purchaser to use MicroSD memory cards to expand the built-in memory. The display is small but adequate, and the sound quality likewise is good enough for its intended application, however it's not really up to being connected to a HiFi system and used to store your entire music collection - this is very much a PORTABLE music player.

The biggest drawback, however, is that the advertised FM radio feature is NO LONGER PART OF THE SPECIFICATION. There is NO radio. Got it? NO radio. If this is an important feature to you, look elsewhere. If you just want a small, light, cheap-ish, expandable, adequate player, the C250 is great.

Nice, small and portable. Battery has had no problems lasting over 13 hours between charges (I have not run it flat yet).
Syncronises well with playlists on the latest Windows Media Player just setup a playlist, set up meda player to automatically synchronise with the sansa, and then wait whilst it synchronises. If you have a micro SD card pluged in shows up as a seperate device, but equally as simple.
Just make sure that youhave the Sansa in USB mde of 'Auto Detect', and then connect it with media player running.

Sansa also have an online firmware updater availble via their website, there have been 2 updates since I bought mine, both of which have installed with no issues.

Only issues that I have had are that the Battery cover is extremely hard to remove the first time. A soon as I saw the headsets that came with it I went out and purchased a morey expensive set, they are adeqate as a starter, but then again headsets are a personal choice.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting a 2 gig MP3 player, but do not but do not buy this for its picture capabilities - they are a low quality and as mentioned elsewhere - the European version DOES NOT HAVE an FM radio.

I bought this SanDisk mp3 player because I had a different model from SanDisk a couple of years ago and it was virtually bombproof. This one is a real disappointment. The build quality seems poor - it feels very inferior to a Samsung device I had (and lost) prior to this. The navigation is also often counterintuitive.

Avoid, as there are better players for this money.
