What a great tune, what a great band, manchester 3 piece consisting of 2 dudes 1 lady and 1 drum machine named 'Mustafabeat'.

Saw them March 2006 supporting Good Shoes, pretty shambolic set where evrything kept going wrong but once they unleashed the double of 'Oklahoma' and 'The Hold Up' it left me jaw open and with a giddy sense of excitement as it became very clear, very quickly that the support that night were really, really good.

Its not rocket science rock, its all pretty simple stuff but just with The Strokes when you first heard 'Is This It', when a simple formula works so well it makes everything else in your record collection sound just plain average. Catchy as hell and nice folk to boot - what more could you ask for?

I think their time to shine will soon be upon us....watch this space...
