The Norwegian dance music composer, producer, and remix artist Hans-Peter Lindstrom built his reputation throughout the1990s on an eclecticism that blended 30 years of disco music into a singular, futuristic vision. This recap of many of his career highlights up to the year 2006 captures Lindstrom's far-reaching musical imagination, with the severe modernism of "Fast and Delirious" juxtaposed with the sexy, relaxedhaziness of "Music (In My Mind)" and the lush, twinkling "ARP She Said," while the dramatic, cinematic "Limitations" and the bubbling beatbox of "Another Station" conjure elementsof grainy '70s urban funk.
