This long-running drama based around the lives of a group of high school students living in the wealthy Beverly Hills neighborhood, deals with the experiences of a group of young people as they navigate their way through high school, college and ultimately the real world. The kids become friends and enemies, fall in and out of love, and go through an endless series of crises as this small group somehow becomes personally involved in every newsworthy social issue from alcoholism to South African apartheid to pregnancy and AIDS. Love it or hate it, Beverly Hills 90210 is a TV institution.

Synopsis
Glossy teen drama BEVERLY HILLS 90210 was hugely popular throughout the '90s and launched the acting careers of Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Luke Perry, and Tori Spelling (whose father Aaron Spelling executive produced the show). Set in the posh, star-studded Southern Californian community of Beverly Hills, the series follows the lives of siblings Brandon (Priestley) and Brenda Walsh (Doherty) as they go through high school and all the stresses it entails. Although primarily aimed at the teen audience, 90210 never shied away from the bigger issues, such as date rape, alcoholism, drug abuse, suicide, or teen pregnancy. Contains every episode from the first series.

I'm only 18 now, and my first Beverly Hills 90210 experience happened last summer when I managed to catch th endof season 4 and beginning of season 5 on Sky One. I was hooked, then they stopped showing it, for some strange reason. So i ordered the first season with a bit of apprehension as I was basing my love for the show on one season. But I was not at all disappointed. It was awesome! The characters are believable and very likeable, and the storylines and acting is just amazing. Shannen Doherty is just brilliant as Brenda Walsh, and so are the rest of the cast. Comedy is provided by the characters of Steve and David, and sad moments by Kelly and Brandon. Overall, I would recommend this to teenagers and adults alike, as the parents have their own storylines too. If you havent brought it yet, buy it now!!!! Bring on the season 2 dvd!!

I watched beverly Hills 90210 when I was younger and loved it from the start. I was gutted when it stopped being shown on tv and I couldnt buy it from anywhere and then Amazon made me the happiest person before christmas 06 when they had series 1 for sale. I snapped it up and im now craving for sereis 2 and hopefully the whole 10 series so I can buy them all!!!!! I love the show and im so grateful that amazon are selling them... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AMAZON.... You will have me as a customer for life if you keep bringing the beverly Hills 90210 dvd's up for sale.... BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!

I love 90210 and have been petitioning the makers for years to get these series onto dvd, I pre ordered this set the day I heard it was being released and will do the same as each series comes out. If you love things like Buffy, OC, Cold Feet, etc then you will like this. It is a drama with beautiful people going through everyday hiccups and some deeper traumas, as the series progress deeper issues are addressed and all in all it is tv solid gold, thanks Mr. Spelling may you rest in peace.
