5.0 out of 5 stars at last - the album we've all been waiting for., 30 Aug 2006
Many people i know have been waiting years for this album to be released (from back when Camera were known as the Benjamins)and it's great to see they've finally done it. As Welsh bands go, Camera are certainly one of the best. There's an intricacy and a delicacy to this music that leaves their peers in the shade. The vocals can be spellbinding, bolstered by a guitar that weaves through the melodies like a snake. Things start well, but it's the second half of the album that truly delivers, culminating in the gorgeous 'tell me what it is'. So who should buy this album? Fans of early REM for one. Fans of Jeff Buckley for two, but ultimately, anyone with a fondness for electric song-based music. As a first album this a marvelously mature piece of work. Rock on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Creeps up on you and follows you everywhere! , 28 Feb 2007

I decided to go for this album based on listening to the band on my space and liking the song hurt. At the time i wasn't expecting as much, thought the other songs i'd heard were good and the album was cheap so i went for it....but then i got the album. Every song has something i like about it, something that makes you want to give it another try. Then you can't get the tunes out of your head. Well worth a listen for fans of idlewild (more remote part than 100 broken windows) and any indie fans from the late 90's. Fantastic album, well done lads.

Fantastic! I Always end up playing this album when I want to kick back
and chill the hell out (there are a couple of tracks to rock out to also!) You can listen from start to end and forget where in gods name your head and ears actually are! If you have any sense in your cranium at all you will love this!!!!
