I've been after a DAB clock radio for ages but the ones I'd seen didn't inspire. However, this Roberts one fits the bill perfectly. It's quite small but has a wonderful clear display, very blue but you can adjust the brightness quite easily. Sound quality is good although I had to purchase the optional expandable telescopic aerial as the aerial supplied, a wire type, was totally useless in our area. All in all a quality product with superb sound. On the negative side, the �10 charge for the telescopic aerial and the less than robust plastic case loses one star of my rating. Having said all that I can recommend this product to anyone.

As a radio this is a good piece of kit. Easy to use, really useful dual alarm (weekdays can be one alarm, weekends the other or none). The bright blue backlight is *very* bright even on dimmest setting - but that's ok with me - helps you see if you get up in the night. The only real downside is the the clock digits are very small - they don't use the whole display area for the clock for some reason, so if you're short-sighted you won't be able to read the clock from the pillow!

I've had this radio for about a month now. Everything is well designed and easy to use. Before I 'turned' digital, I had my old FM radio next to my bed, where I could get the local rubbish station, and Radio 4 LW. Now I can get 43 stations, with the radio in the same place!

The only criticism I have is the brightness of the light. It's a blinding blue, not good when you wake up in the middle of the night with a banging headache and want to look at the time.

I'd recommend this product, it's a legend.
