A classic executive desk toy which never ceases to facinate. This demonstrates Newton's principle that 'action and reaction are equal and opposite'. If one of the steel balls is lifted and allowed to fall back at one end, then one will swing out the same distance at the other end. This causes the beginning of perpetual motion which dies down only as a result of friction, an interesting process to watch. Size: 11cm

I've always wanted one of these and now I've got one. I have to say it's quite small, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. That might be a good thing for some people but I'd prefere something a little bigger. It also only lasts for about 20 seconds when you put it into motion. But its fun to see which combinations of ticks you can make. (its a little hard to explain, but if you buy it you'll know)
