5.0 out of 5 stars Another masterpiece from Mr Jones, 27 Nov 2006

Once again Stephen Jones comes up with the goods. A superb album from a musical genuis. Great pop tunes and a voice to die for. Can't really put it any better than that.
If you're a Babybird fan you'll know what to expect. If you only know him from the You're Gorgeous period then it's time you opened your ears to the other wondrous music this man has made. One of the greatest songwriters this country has ever produced. If only more people out there would buy his music they would realise this for themselves.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'd pay twice the price, 6 Oct 2006
By N. Abbott "the_abb" (UK) - See all my reviews

Wow! The master of hooky multi-harmonied pop genius is back and how?!?!. This album is simply stunning. Full of wonderful lyrics and quirky production touches and all the things that make Stephen Jones the most underated artist in the UK today.
From the heart string tugging plead against consumerism "Too Much" through power pop love letters of "Snails" and "Lighter 'n' Spoon" he delivers in spades.

Buy it buy it buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Robbie Warke, 8 Oct 2006

A truely great album. Jones has once again brought us infectious and intelligent music with a little edge of dirty floors and dark ally ways. I have been a fan of Babybird and Steven Jones since the early low fi days and he just keeps producing great music. Buy this album if you are fan or buy it if you just like music with a bite!!
