5.0 out of 5 stars Strange but beautiful blend, 17 Sep 2009
This is a strange but beautiful blend of singer/songwriter "contemporary folk - think Bon Iver - and the cool, simple stringwork of a classic violinist/multi-instrumentalist. the lyrics are great - a little bit along the lines of early Iron and Wine but more condensed. A very fine first record from a fascinating pair of musicians.
