Released to mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - one of only a handful of figures in human history to whom the term "musical legend" can justifiably be given - this album, as its title suggests, contains only arias by the great composer and Terfel, a master interpreter, does justice to every piece.

These pieces really show off Bryn's wondrous voice and it is evident that Bryn relishes the chance to sing some of these classic Mozart selections. The quality of this disc is furthered with the addition of Sir Charles Mackerras conducting the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the combination of these great artists at work is just immense. Bryn has to have one of the finest voices in the world and this collection, featuring all new recordings of Mozart pieces is one of his finest recordings to date. This combination of one of the world's greatest composers with one of the world's greatest voices is just too good not to own. It seems as though every year there are a whole host of new Mozart albums released - if you want to choose one of them as being an essential purchase you should definitely make it Tutto Mozart.
