5.0 out of 5 stars Rapping Legend, 18 Nov 2006
By C. Walley - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: 4:21...The Day After (Audio CD)
Listening to Method Man never gets boring because he has something that all other commercial rappers like 50cent or Chamillionaire (LOL) don't have, a decent voice. Other Wu-tang rappers like Raekwon also have great voices and it allows the raps to flow perfectly.

In my opinion the best tracks on the album are:

Is it me - Great lyrics on an Ice-Cube-like beat with a piano tune over the top.
Problem - Excellent track which sounds like it should have the entire Wu-tang clan in it.
Fall out - Good track despite the middle-eastern sound (I'm thinking 50cent - Jus' a lil' bit or Pussycat Dolls - Buttons), very 'crunk'.
Presidential M.C. - Slow-paced track but still has great lyrics from both meth and the chef.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bets MethodMan album to date..., 8 Nov 2006
This review is from: 4:21...The Day After (Audio CD)
Forget all the people comparing this album and Tical... Many years have passed since the groundbreaking Tical and it shows. 4:21 is an amazing album that shows Meth has grown and developed his skills. Exactly what we except from one of Hip Hops finest.

4.0 out of 5 stars Return to form, 8 Sep 2006
By Mr Logic (Vancouver, BC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 4:21...The Day After (Audio CD)
If you ever liked Method Man or the Wu Tang, you should get this album. His best solo work since his debut. Lots of funky, heavy beats - stand out tracks Dirty Mef, Presidential MC, Walk On.
