Although this volume only contains 3 eps, they are for me some of the best ever seen on SG1. 2 of the eps deal with the power of the Ori extending beyond the Priors, and reaching onto the fanatical followers ("Ethon") and bibical-esque swarms of creatures ("The Scourge"). "Off The Grid" is also an action-packed episode, involving the pesky Lucian Alliance and their large crime ring.

The actors play brilliantly like always, and the special effects, particuarly on "Ethon" help to bring forward powerful feelings, those who saw the episode whilst it was on TV will know why.

On the whole, a very entertaining disk, get it when it is released or wait till the boxset. Either way, an ideal part of any SG1 fan's collection.

At first season 9 is a bit boring, then when you get into it it becomes as good as all the previous seasons.
Daniel Jackson, Samantha Carter, Cameron Mitchell and Teal'c are explorers who visit other planets to learn about cultures, procure alien technology and fight evil enemies. In this volume, the storyline of the Ori carries on as they force cultures to abandon their current belief systems and worship them. If they don't, they are destroyed. Even the occasional viewer of Stargate has got to buy this disc as it is one of the best of the season.
