5.0 out of 5 stars Breed 77 The most under-rated band EVER!!!!, 16 Sep 2006
By Mr. A. D. Wharton - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Breed 77 after bringing the thunderous cultura to the table have returned with another epic album. Soaring vocals deliver some very emotive lyrics about self, love, the state of our warring world and much more. The classical guitars still reign supreme to exquisite effect on "Tears" infusing the music with tingling, sensitive power. However heavy electric riffs and super powered solo's arnt far behind. A true fusion of music that works to stunning effect. For me every track is a standout tune and I highly recommend this album. overall this beats cultura hands down, at times its heavy and dark at others poignant and uplifting. There is no other band out now that does what breed do to the level they do it. This will not disapoint existing fans and i'm sure will captivate new ones too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Breed 77 boys are back in style, 12 Sep 2006
By L. Mould "Lolly the Monkeh" (London, U.K) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Following 2004's 'Cultura' was always going to be a hard task. With such an intoxicating mix of flamenco, folk and metal it was all but assumed that it would be regarded as their magnum opus. But if you ever doubted that they could follow up in style, 'In My Blood' is going to reassure you.
Opener 'Petroleo' is a thundering, storming piece of good, old-fashioned metal embellished with the flamenco sensibilities that have become Breed 77's trademark....a great crowd pleaser at their live shows. New single 'Blind' and 'The Game' provide heavy slabs of grinding, pit-inducing excellence while 'Viento De Levante' seems to have been plucked straight from the markets of Morocco (my only gripe is that this track is too short!) Elsewhere, Breed 77 show their sensitive side with heartfelt ballad 'Look At Me Now' and the genuinely emotional 'Tears', complete with children's choir (yes, children's choir) and, in true Monty Python style, they deliver something completely different with the mandolin-infused clap-along anthem that is 'Remember That Day', for me the standout track of the album, a song which represents the diversity and cultural heritage which sets Breed 77 apart from all the other metal pretenders on the block.

There's something for absolutely everyone on this album. It traces Breed 77's progression into a band with the maturity, musical prowess and above all amazing songsmithery you'd expect from an outfit who've been around for so long.

5.0 out of 5 stars It trully is In My Blood, 12 Sep 2006
By Kalothagh (Manchester, UK) - See all my reviews
Breed, just gets better and better. Quite easily known as one of the best up and coming bands from the U.K, they continue to bring a new edge to rock and metal music. This album sounds smoother, richer and the the guitar solo's are great.
The Flamenco/Latino sound is evident with every track, as is their trademark.
It's well worth a look and listen. You'll be hooked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding
Another winner from Breed 77. Not one track I didn't like. I had to buy my daughter her own copy to take back to uni. Mine would have disappeared. It really is that good.
