5.0 out of 5 stars East Coast Express addons 1 & 2, 31 Dec 2006
By Sean "James & Sean" (Wakefield, England) - See all my reviews
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
My Son & I think the East coast Express 1 & 2 addons are excellent. The blue flashes on the pantograph of the class 91's are very realistic. The route is accurate with good key features, especially at York & cooling towers between Doncaster & York.
We have many addons & this is one of the best, well worth the 2 year wait. Great price too !
Note: We had Maglev 2005 installed & East Coast Express wouldn't work until we un-installed
Maglev.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best MSTS add-on yet, 18 Feb 2007
By Xpress (Bangor, North Wales) - See all my reviews
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Writing as someone with experience of the line in real life, this simulation is so real it is almost as good as being in the cab. The graphics are excellent, the profile of the line is close to the original, train performance reflects the real thing and signals can be seen a long way off.
Without question, the best MSTS add-on yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Part 2 a great compliment to part 1, 19 Jul 2006

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Since purchasing part 2 of this addon I have not been off train simulator. I have not only enjoyed playing the activities but also creating my own.

I also feel the inclusion of the class 89 (the infamous "badger") as another great addition to the pack.

If you have purchased part 1 you should purchase part 2 and let train simulator join the two to create one extensive route.
