Album Description

Kenny Anderson lives and works in the kingdom of Fife, he runs (with some mates) the fence collective, a record company, fanzine publisher and is a live promoter, who turns out dozens of cd albums with artists such as James Yorkston, The Beta Band, KT Tunstall and the Lone Pigeon all passing through their ranks.

His latest album was grown out of a suggestion (on a rainy night at the ICA) of teaming up with label mates the earlies, after 11 days locked in a small studio in manchester KC walked out with this album...

This is a gorgeous album from one of the most talented and original songwriter in the UK at the momment; A vast array of songs flirting with different styles.. all my friends who listened to this album fell for it after 3 songs with the usual question.."who is singing this, this is really great.." even my hip-hop loving friends :*) ..which is an achievement since KC is that new folk sound...
Anyway, it's just great music & songs.. transcends style!

absolutley stunning collection of songs,from the opening trance-like 'not one bit ashamed' this album pulls and pushes you from one emotion to the other.
the arrangments are beautiful and funny (bootprints,you are could i) the songs are heartbreaking and honest.
everyone of these songs rules...

this record is so beautiful.it reminds me of the waterboys with it's celtic sentiment and the songs are so accesible,his voice is amazing and the music is sad..but uplifting,if you like stephen fretwell or damien rice you will love this
