Recorded in Hollywood and New Orleans and produced by Joe Henry, the album sees the pair re-record seven of Toussaint's classic recordings while writing five new tracks especially for the album. Backed by Costello's TheImposters and Toussaint's horn section the album is a mix of classic New Orleans soul and Costello's legendary songwriting.
