5.0 out of 5 stars Nice, 11 Jan 2007

Dispite what the review above says you CAN pilot the robots your self, however I chose not to. That said the fun in this is all about making the right machine for the job. if you like games where you customize things, you'll love this, theres so many things to tweak, hard to believe its a handheld game

5.0 out of 5 stars Really a fantastic simulation game, 26 May 2007

Some people may think this game is too complicated or it's really hard to understand the tremendous amount of data. I was one of them at first.

However the fastest way is to copy the design from the top ranker in the league, either from "Bottom 3" or "Regular League". By doing this, you could easily have your matchless robot. What you could do next is tune your machine a little bit and it will be unbeatable.

Trust me, you will find you are stuck on this game until you reach the top of the league. After doing that, you still will never find this game boring or easy end as you cannot design a single robot suitable to all opponents and location.

Buy it if you are a simulation fan.

3.0 out of 5 stars bit of a disappointment, 16 April 2006
By a trance fan (London, England) - See all my reviews
Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
I've been a fan of the Armored Core series ever since I played Armored core 2 on the playstation at a friend's. I really enjoyed how you could make your own robot and pilot it and fight others but in this game you can't all you can do is to program A.I. robots, which gets boring after like half an hour. The enjoyment of making the robot is still there but they've taking out the best part of the game.

I would only advise you to buy this game if your a hardcore fan of Armored Core but if your like me then don't bother.
