The first two Iron Maiden albums with Paul Dianno singing were always my favourite and I really wanted to like this album...unfortunately it's dire stuff.
Being a longtime Megadeth fan I listened to Dianno's cover of 'Symphony of Destruction' first. I'm pretty sure it's at least part p*sstake, but even so, vocally it's almost irredeemably crap, though the music is pretty close to the original.
The rest of the album seems, on the only listen I could bare to give it, solid enough power metal. Unfortunately, Dianno's voice seems to have deteriorated to the point where he seems to be singing in the wrong key at times and the whole thing is uninspired
I'm giving it two stars mainly out of charity, and also the fact that, though it's awful, at least it's professionally awful.
I still love the first two Maiden albums though!

Lets get one thing straight. Dianno has a very unique and fantastic voice and has for sure made some fantastic albums with and without Iron Maiden but this is a bit poor.

The Living Dead - Just watch the video and tell me if he is trying anymore, poor and pathetic. 0/10

I dont need to review the rest as he does not deserve my time.

Mad Man In The Attic - 10/10 On this album
Classic Song and worth buying for that and thats why I give it 2 stars instead of none.

paul di anno is a real genius of heavy metal with his angel like voice and his amzing heavy metal. the song 'the living dead' is so good that it hurts but more highlights include dog dead and so much more. this album is highly recommended and is the big competition for the the greatest albums ever, 5star*****
