5.0 out of 5 stars The best footer game ever, 19 Jan 2007
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
I've played this game on most platforms (ps2, xbox 360, pc) and have just ordered it on the gamecube (silver one) i got off ebay for 10£. I have to say that its simply the best footer game I've ever played and it blows pro evolution away. If its anything like it is on the other platforms its a must buy. That geeza who said it was too easy must be a total geek, its far too easy on amatuar I agree, but I get a very challenging game on pro and semi pro. There are also world class and perfect which I cant do, as theyre so hard. I've been playing footer games since the days of match day on the bbc micro, so I've played almost every footer game that was ever invented (kick off on the amiga, sensible soccer (amiga again) and all of the pro evolutions and fifas) so I know the score. The global challenge is a neat touch and sometimes extremely difficult (you take charge of teams in famous matches from history to unlock the world cup finals you have to get bronze medals in each of the continental matches). The players are very realistic, and star players is a brilliant idea it totally adds to the excitement. Stadiums are realistic, theres even a Jamaican stadium lol!

I expected this game to be decent but i was wrong!
its far to easy unless you're 5 all you only have to do a lob [through] ball and you are 1 on 1 with the keeper.
the only decent thing about the game is the graphics. the players faces are almost spot on but everything else is [mediocore].
whatever you do dont buy this game FIFA 06 is loads better

2.0 out of 5 stars Suicidal......, 7 Jul 2006

Being a major teenage football fan, I was looking forward to this game. When I played it, I felt like comitting suicide. I'd rather get boiled alive in castor oil than play this rubbish game. Ok, the graphics are good but the gameplay is rubbish and it's way too easy. Besides, if anyone shouldn't be on the front cover, it's definetely Frank Lampard.
