Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This incarnation of the FIFA franchise perhaps unsurprisingly plays a pretty good , enjoyable game of soccer that's on the arcadey rather than "realistic" side of things .

The graphics are functional and do their job altho they aren't very pretty TBH ( and some of the player closeups look like strange scary things you wouldn't want to meet on a dark night ) .

There's a tiny smattering of "management" ( read team selection & formation ) and you can play through the qualifiers as well as the main competition if you want to which is good .

The stamina bar so maligned in Fifa 06 is still here but doesnt go down at such a crazy rate this time round which is an improvement for those of us that like to run at the opposition sometimes .

The commentary is good enough as far as it goes if your expectations arent to high of it , it does add to the atmosphere a bit but is a little limited in repetoire & often misplaced ( an accidental tap to the opposition keepers feet will have him prasing a scorching shot for example )

If you like Fifa games in general & arent expecting to be dazzled by the graphics then this game while it does nothing revolutionary does pretty much what you'll be expecting of it and is worth the money in my opinion
