This is an amazing record for fans of Plumb , Evanesence, K Clarkson, Sarah Mclachlan. They will love each track. Promotion of singles is promised and you may not of heard of this album yet. All reviews in the states give this stella release 5 out of 5. Enjoy and listen to the preview tracks. Be there first!

CHAOTIC RESOLVE is the second album by Plumb that I have bought, with BEAUTIFUL LUMPS OF COAL being the other. Whilst in some ways they are both similar, I feel that CHAOTIC RESOLVE also offers something a little different to BEAUTIFUL LUMPS OF COAL. I feel that RESOLVE is slightly more rocky and has more of an edge to the music.

The opening track, "Blush" is one of the sfoter songs on the album. Although it is one of the tracks which leans more towards pop than rock, it is a damn good pop song. The chorus is catchy, and the music is great. "I Can't do This", the next track shows that there is going to be two edges to this album - the light and the dark. The anger and frustration behind the words hint toward what is going to come later.
One of the best songs, I feel is "Cut". The intro is beautiful. The piano playing is superb, conveying delicacy and fragility for the verses before more instrumentation is added for further depth on the chorus. And the lyrics are brilliant. The emotion behind this song is unmissable. There is pain, vulnerability and almost a defiance in her words:-
"I may seem crazy / or painfully shy / and these scars wouldn't be so hidden if you would just look me in the eye".
A shocking but beautiful song.

What I love about CHAOTIC RESOLVE is how there is a duality to it. Although there are songs which are more positive and upbeat, there are also songs which are fragile, sad or rockier to give them a harsher sound and edge.
A brilliant album - recommended.
