    A particularly useful dish as it can also go under the grill to brown off a topping!

    Packed in a cardboard sleeve incorporating full use/care instructions, then in a secure outer box.

    Easy to clean, by hand.......or pop it in the dishwasher.

    n.b. Cannot be used on the stove-top.

    I love this dish. Having gone through two cheap supermarket versions in a month, both of which cracked, I decided to invest in quality. My previous experience of Le Creuset was a huge yellow dish that went from hob to oven. It was well made and durable but once full of food it was so heavy that I could hardly lift it. This dish won't go on the hob, but it will go in the freezer and oven or under the grill. It isn't heavy, it is well made and looks great. I recently reheated half a lasagne in it and the scrapings on the empty half were soon well burnt on. To my surprise it cleaned up really easily and looks as good as new. I couldn't want any more in a dish and I am delighted with it.

    hmm, i'm hoping i just got a faulty one - but on its maiden voyage and only in a 160 degree oven it cracked clean in two.

    hoping the rest of the stoneware fares better.

    also we noticed the stoneware is all made in thailand and not france as one might think.
