5.0 out of 5 stars Watch Out!, 2 Feb 2007
By Dom "The Yetti" (Isle of Man) - See all my reviews
I have only been able to watch bits and pieces of Samurai Jack and therefore had no idea what order any of the episodes were in.

Jack is (obviously) a Samurai, who in the long ago and far away was always doing battle with the evil 'aku.' During their battle Aku threw Jack into a time portal and sent him into the future. With no Jack left, Aku took over the 'present' and the story picks up with Jack in the future, where Aku's evil rules all. Jacks mission - to find a time portal to send him back to the past and defeat Aku once and for all.

The animation used in this series is often simple but very effective and there are also some episodes where there are some truly stunning sequences (see the episode with the shinobi, the one where jack has to free a family from the curse of a demon and the one where jack gets turned into a chicken!)

Each episode brings in new characters and wierd civilisations that Jack meets on his quest to find a time portal. It always ends with good giving evil the right kicking it deserves. Have yet to see how it ends but I would highly recommend this to anyone, its very good fun, has some lovely graphics and you can watch it for hours!
