The Epson Stylus Photo RX640 all-in-one photo center offers you premium quality printing and high-performance scanning and copying. You can print stunning, vibrant photos quickly and easily whenever it suits you.

Use the 2.5" Photo Fine color LCD preview display to view the composition of your images and to select and format the images you want to print. The Epson Stylus Photo RX640 has a built-in transparency unit so handling film, slides and negatives is simple.

The 3200 x 6400 dpi MatrixCCD scanner lets you capture detailed images to ensure sharp, well-defined copies and enlargements. And the on-screen menu display lets you print high-quality borderless photos directly, whether from digital, photo or film sources.

You don't have to be a computer expert to get the best photos from your printer. Use Epson's PhotoEnhance technology, which automatically detects the type of scene and adjusts the colors accordingly. And use Epson's Easy Photo Fix software to restore old and damaged memories. It allows you to restore color to older, faded photos and film, and the dust removal feature eliminates dust specks from film scans. It's the ideal way to restore and revive your old photo collection.

I was amazed at how well this DEVICE does everything. You can't call it a printer because it does so much more. The 35mm negative scanner is chrystal clear up to massive resolutions and it even prints directly on CD/DVD's. You can plug an SD card in and print directly from it, or even a USB memory stick, and I bet a lot more which I haven't even tried.
I have hammered it already and it is taking the punishment . . . Well done Epson.

I only bought this printer a few months ago but I am very impressed with the quality of my photos, the view finder where I can crop, enlarge, etc on this stand-alone printer - the slides system is so easy and I am so pleased with the results. There are so many things you can easily do with memory card, copy, negatives, slides, scan and to produce such good results! I would definitely buy the same printer when I have used this one out! Very compact, easy to use and to obtain excellent results! I definitely like this printer all-in-one!

I recently bought the RX640 machine and I am most impressed with the ease, speed and quality of the work I get back from it. Printing photos is so easy and gives very sharp photos, colour saturation is the best I have seen. Scanning photos, slides, negatives or text gives brilliant quality results. It also looks good. If you do a lot of photo printing and scanning look no further!
