This film could quite possibly be the worst film i've seen. There is nothing right with this film at all, as it has a poor story, acting, special effects, is slow and just best to be avoided. Honestly!

I can not really compare it to anything else I have seen, but I guess I would describe it as a very poor "straight to TV" kind of movie. My tip if you do buy this? Put this on for your kids if you want them to fall asleep pretty quickly, they will be asleep within minutes!

Just avoid it, if you know what's good for you!

This is definitely not the worst film out there and granted it's not got masses of amazing special effects by todays standards it's a worth "family-friendly" film.

The storyline is solid, funny in places and has a simple message of courage and family values along the lines of the "old Disney favourites". It goes (in a nutshell) along the lines of seperated parents where dad, who loves his 2 children, is too busy with work too bother spending quality time with the kids. With the help of the "magic in the water" and a guiding hand from the sea-side towns-people & old neglected grandfather he soon rekindles the importance and value of family & friends.

Doesn't deserve a 5-Star rating by todays standards, but no way deserves a 1-star... happy it's now part of my collection and enjoy watching it regularly. If you like films with a good story-line along the old Disney family movie style then this is definitely one to watch.
