This SUPERB dark and anthemic masterpiece is surely the culmination and pinnacle of 28 years of single-mindedness, determination and hard work, for the amazing Gary Numan.

There is not one poor track here, such power and emotion. I am THRILLED with this album, am proud to be a Numanoid of long standing and like 2000 others, so look forward to the album launch show on the 18 March.

Now, will come the acclaim you have long deserved Gary. I am very proud of you indeed, ENJOY !!!!!

Whilst i Loved Sacrifice and Exile,i wasnt so keen on Pure so it was with anxious trepidation that i opened my copy of Jagged..I needn't have worried. This album is quite superb.Pressure opens up sort of full of Eastern promise as it has a hint of indian culture to it,very differant!!Fold is a good old fashioned bit of Numan high swirlling choral effects with quiet,dark verses.In my humble opinion, Haunted is the best track Gary has written in many a long year.It sort of creeps up on you then,at the chorus, smacks you in the eardrums!!His use of real drums with that track gives it a very rich sound, Wonderful. "In a dark place" has the same effect.The swirlling keyboard effects sets the mind into glorious termoil.Listen to these two tracks with headphones and you will see what i mean.
I'm probably the only Numan fan who doesn't like "Cars" (each to their own you may say!)and this album is nothing like Cars!!
If you like heavy swirling synthesizers,dark lyrics and Gary's distinguishing voice coming over the top of it all,this album is definitely for you.

NO. No it is not. Not if this was what he was rustling up (as well as the lil'chidder numans). Good work cocker, you've really put your foot to some backside right here! Absolutely excellent album, the worst track on it would still be probably one of my favourites of all time. I express a particular liking for the tracks "Fold", "In a Dark Place" and "Scanner", but it's too hard to pick real favourites, they're all great.
The numan sound changes so much, from the ice-clad, disconjugated synth jiggery-pokery of 25 years ago, down into the shoddy depths of funk and out into the bright, shining new world of kinda industrial, kinda metallic but very dark renaissance. This new album really has some darkness in it, but not to the point of indulgence. It's deep and brooding and then its wailing in your ear with mutant rhythms and scary cellos. I've got to say, this is better than sacrifice, exile and pure by some significant degrees of magnitude and those were spectacularly good albums. So spend your money people.
