Brilliant Game, 6 May 2006
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This game is really fun and is worth buying for just two or three of these games alone. But you get nearly 40 games on this package, and although you'll probably stick to your favourites at first, you will be discovering real gems of games amongst the rest for weeks to come.
If you like 2D shoot-em-ups you will love this collection as Rayforce and Darius Gaiden are brilliant games, and theres plenty of puzzle games as well.
Overall i would recommend this game to anyone who is interested in fun games and who wants a bargain.

Taito, I hate you!, 25 Mar 2006
By A Customer
I've had the Xbox version of "Taito Legends 2" on pre-order since it was announced - for two reasons: "RayStorm" (quite possibly my favourite vertical scrolling shooter) and the sublime "G-Darius" (definitely my favourite ever horizontal scrolling shooter). Having owned both of these titles on the PSOne, I was looking forward to a beautiful reunion - hopefully with higher-resolution graphics, and less slow-down thanks to more powerful hardware. Yay!But now, as release day is nearly upon us, Taito announce that the exact two games I wanted this compilation for in the first place will be PS2 exclusives?! OK, the Xbox version has its own exclusives, but ... argh! And the Xbox version costs a fiver more than the PS2 version! Having 'exclusive' titles on different format versions of the same compilation is a HORRIBLE IDEA - especially when some of the 'exclusive' games are arguably the more desirable titles. Presumably the plan is that owners of multiple consoles will buy both versions. Curse you, Taito!

WOW, I DIDN'T REALISE I HAVE BEEN PLAYING ON THESE GAMES THIS LONG, 1 Dec 2006
Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
First things, buy this, all the games on this, because the graphics are easily produced now that games have better graphics than this, can easily be reproduced to the arcade origanals, does anybody remember front line, you have a soldier and you used to turn a circle type button to turn his gun and you also had a grenade and after that you where up against tanks, some with machine guns and some that fired sugar lumps at you, well they looked like sugar lumps and you could have a tank if you found them some where along the way, wonderful, also space invaders, the origanal is there with the picture of a planet in the background and the same sound when you fire and when the aliens get killed, also if anyone is going to buy super bust a move or any of the bust a move games, don't bother the arcade origanal is on here, plus plenty of arcade games on here, I remember elevator actions and elevator actions returns, which I have never played is brillant, also pop n pop, when you have balloons and have to line them up, buy this, great games included, if only they could have put operation wolf from taito legends and included it in this instead, it would have been perfect.
