In Schobert's chamber music the main protagonist is the keyboard. But in this recording the pianoforte of 1820 is weak and seems to be an accompaniment to the strings. The musicians should have used a modern piano and played this music in the academic tradition. The music is nice, but what a stupid idea it was to use a squeaky and weak pianoforte!
