The Rifles may be unheared of but they sound like they've been doing this for a long time. Repeated Offender is the third song they have released from an unreleased album. If the whole album is like this then i will be the first to buy it. With obvious influences from The Jam and The Libertines, they sound like the band The Ordinary Boys were suppose to be.The lead singer,Joel Stroker,tells the story of a repeat offender who can't keep himself on the right side of the law.He tells it with a passion that dates back to Jagger and Bruce.It feels like he knows the person and wants him to stay straight.The Rifles have a gritty feel to them which should keep them on the road to success and will hopefully keep them producing songs like this.
