Synopsis

Richard LeMay's directorial debut is a quirky American indie, with subtle acting and unexpected plot twists that dispel cliches about its subject matter. Conrad is a successful CEO at an ad agency whose lover has left him due to his overwhelming tendency to be a control freak. Though an attractive man, Conrad opts to hire a prostitute for sex rather than risk emotional involvement, but when Ian arrives at his door he is unable to understand why such a nice boy chooses to sell himself for a living. Consequently, Conrad offers the hot Aussie hustler a job at his agency in exchange for twice-weekly sexual favours. The complications that ensue for both men attempting to navigate the sticky territory of money, sex, and love, are both amusing and highly moving.

3.0 out of 5 stars No budget, 15 Jan 2006

Nice modern day gay love story. Made with no budget and that you can tell. Acting and technic are so so. But for a first movie it only can get better. The idea is good! And we need more movies with a gay theme!

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish, 31 July 2007
By Patrick Hehir (London, UK) - See all my reviews

This film was very weak. Poor acting, poor camerawork, poor directing, etc. The story is very weak and that guy's dodgy Australian accent was laughable!! Don't bother with this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dire.............., 11 Jan 2006
Almost lost for words on this one. Dire on every level. Avoid. Oh all right then, the acting....what acting ? Direction and photography......laugh ? I thought I'd never start. Oh yes and the sound goes out of sync, and I almost forgot, the picture quality is......? Well I get more picture quality from my camcorder when it's set to easymode. Look by all means play at making movies, but don't foist the lousy results on innocent members of the public. Must go now, I'm off to see 'Brokeback Mountain' again. Oh yes, did I mention that I'd really like my money back for this one ?
