The story begins a few years after the conclusion of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The Prince has returned to Babylon, to find himself hunted by a supernatural creature bent on his destruction.

Forced to live a life on the run, he seeks counsel from an old mystic, who explains that the Prince's actions have spawned a creature known as the Dahaka. In saving the Sultan's palace from destruction, the Prince created a rift in the Timeline. The Dahaka intends to repair this problem by ending the Prince's life.

The Prince quickly realizes that there's only one way to end his troubles: journey to the birthplace island of the Sands of Time, find a way to travel into the past, and stop the Sands from being created. He sets sail for the island immediately...

5.0 out of 5 stars Prince on the psp, 5 Mar 2006
By A Customer
Alright I've never played Prince of Persia before and I'm not familiar with the series. I rented this game out last weekend to play on my new psp and i was absolutely amazed. The graphics are nothing short of magnificent. The scale of the levels is huge and the environments are richly detailed and look stunning on the small screen. The gameplay is great, capturing all aspects of what a real action/adventure game should play like.

The game itself involves you fighting yuor're way through masses of enemies but with a difference. Most adventure games have simple straightforward levels that you breeze through but with this game you have to use your brain to progress. The path is never layed out for you which I think is great. It also makes the game a lot longer.
The prince has a lot of qualities at his disposal and he's very aerobatic. You'll always be able to interact with the environment. For example if you hit a wall with your sword it will bounce back off it with a sound of steel.
I was so amazed by this game I'm going to back and play through the Prince of Persia trilogy on the ps2. If you have a psp then I recommend this game. You will not be disappointed. Thx for reading.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sheer Genius, 8 Feb 2006
I'm a "BIG" psp fan.... I own nearly a dozen games and My wife rents all the psp titles at her video shop. Out of all the games I've played including GTA this is the best!

Terrific graphics and fluid animation without any slowdown... It's like tombraider on drugs! If your looking for a game that's visually impressive, great puzzles and story... Look no further.

So why only four stars..... It's not perfect.

The sound is very occasionallly out of sink and it's also sometimes hard to find a good camera angle but these situations are few and far between. The biggest niggle is saving which can only be done at certain points in the game. It doesn't lend itself very well to someone who want's to have a quick play for a few minutes. However I must admit, this is not so much of an issue as it's impossible to play in short bursts and you'll soon find that your quick few minutes has expanded into hours.

Put quite simply... buy this game! I was looking for something to test my brain and reflexes and that is what I got.

5.0 out of 5 stars This game RULES!!, 19 Dec 2005
By Mr. S. Dean - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
as stated above, it is a conversion of Warrior Within. But Warrior Within is AWSOME, and Revelations has TWENTY ADDED LEVELS than the original game!! and Warrior Within is such a great game, that you need it for when youre on the move!! Just about everything has been redifined for it also, so its a better version than the original!!
