If you though Corey Taylor was all about screaming at the top of his lungs take a second, take a listen, bother is an immensely powerful single that really deserves to be a hit. Playing the guitar and displaying his undoubted singing ability Taylor shows a new and brlliant side to his vocal and musical talent; also being released with previously un-released material I feel this single is a must buy!!!

Attention all you doubters who think that the limit to Corey Taylor's ability as a vocalist is manic screaming. This will make you eat your words!!!

This song mixes Corey's beautiful vocals with subtle guitars and a mellow background sound provided by an orchestra. Corey's singing is truely beautiful far from the screaming days of Slipknot. When I downloaded this song from the Spiderman soundtrack I was intrigued to see if Corey could step out of Slipknot's shadow. This proves that he can.

The lyrics in this song are personal to Corey ("Stones to throw at my creator"- a direct reference to the father that Corey never new) and thus makes me feel privileged that he has chosen to share this song with the world.

All of you who do not believe that Corey can do anything other than scream buy this single you will be plesantly suprised. A single for both doubters and lovers of Corey Taylor. Bother proves that Corey Taylor has many more strings to his bow.

This is an amzing song. Admittidly i dont like the Slipknot era, which stone sour are a part of but this song isnt new metal and is extremely good. If you dont like nu-metal, then dont buy their album but this song is absolutely amazing and well worth buying.
