Product Description

From the Label

This 14 track CD side features newly recorded versions of Ozzy’s personal favourites--including "Woman" (John Lennon), "Rocky Mountain Way" (Joe Walsh) and "Go Now" (The Moody Blues)--plus songs he recorded for 2005’s anthology box set Prince Of Darkness, such as "In My Life" (the Beatles), "21st Century Schizoid Man" (King Crimson) and "For What It’s Worth" (Buffalo Springfield). Also featured is the 2003 number 1 smash hit single cover version of Black Sabbath’s "Changes" with daughter Kelly Osbourne

CD Description

The "Prince Of Darkness" pays tribute to the acts that inspired him on this covers album. The choices - including the Beatles, the Moody Blues, Mott The Hoople and Buffalo Springfield, may at first seem surprising but make sense when one remembers that when Black Sabbath started out they were a blues band, albeit a very heavy one, and that these bands were their contemporaries.

(REAL NAME)
The rock tracks are Ozzy at his screaming best whereas the quieter tracks[yes there are a few] show the depth of his distinctive vocals especially the Beatles and John Lennon covers,Women is a revalation and Working Class Hero is almost as good as Lennons version but Ozzy at his best are on the two tracks Sympathy For The Devil and 21st Century Schitzoid Man.
Having said that I cant fault this cd in any way and all I can say is" Keep on doing it Ozzy"
