After using Norton Internet Security Pro 2004 for years (better than Norton 2005 and 2006), now decided to change and after using the trial version of this on another pc, found it very good. It detected stuff Norton didn't. Easy to install and to setup, messages give you the option of to sent/report to bullguard as well as the ability to see more information on the error/message in question i.e. if something is trying to access the internet (your spyware software). My PC was scanned in about 30-45mins. The firewall is excellent as well is the spam filter. I have used the online help facility and they are very good at helping, and if you have to send them a file, they do reply quickly but they do say that priority to licensed users come first but will reply in a 1hr or 2 on the trial version. I got my reply in about 45mins. Not used the backup feature yet.
Need new Internet Security, go for this.

Just bought this from a local reseller after it was recommended by a friend so thoguht I'd try it myself. Installation is very simple and the user interface also very easy to use.

I love the idea of backup as I do have a lot of information on my pc and laptop that I be devastated if I were to lose it. The good thing there also is with the one retail box I was able to license it on up to 3 pc's in my home.

I had to use the support as when I did a scan it couldn't get rid of all the stuff it found due to my previous Antivirus not finding the viruses, but they were superb and after asking for a log report or something had me sorted within 1 hour!! The support over the chat was answered within 30 seconds which I thought was great.

I'd recommend this to anyone!!!! Do yourself a favour and buy it tomorrow!

After seeing the excellent reviews for Bullguard v 5.0, when my interent connecion was virtually paralysed by a virus I gambled on Bullguard 6.
My existing Norton had found the virus but despite its repeated assurances could not remove it. Norton was duly removed and Bullguard added. In two scans it found and got rid of four trojan horses and worms I had no idea were there as well as my rogue internet virus. Another problem was resolved with an easy follow through from a link to an on-line guide. Step by step instructions are easy to follow although one warning point - if you have no internet connection because of a virus or rogue dialer you cannot activate the programme and it will not run. All support is also online or via email. The spam filter and firewall look in good shape and there is a large backup programme to store sensitive material for free via Bullguard's server. Product also came with free mobile/PDA security software.In general an excellent, easy to use product that exposed some serious flaws in the competition.
