What can I say about this record. Absolutley amazing. On first hearing the opening of the song you think it is a slow song but then it goes into the chorus with a bang. Annie Lennox's voice is pure gold on this record showing alot of other singers how it is really meant to be done.

It is no wonder that Eurythmics are the most successful British duo ever!!

The production is just amazing and reminds you of 1983's Sweet Dreams.

The words (as always from Annie Lennox) are beautiful so listen carefully as there Annie and Dave don't just write any old tat.

If this is anything to go by I hope we hear more of this glorious voice.

Ok so the new song "I've Got a Life" is really something. Eurythmics have gone back to the basics with this one. Synths reminescent of their first 3 albums (In The Garden, Sweet Dreams Are Made of This and Touch). This single enteres the UK singles charts at number 14. Considering the great content of these two cds it should have gone higher. Oh well. After a slow start, almost making you fear this is another song that could be on the "Peace" album, it breaks out with Annie's strong vocals and those synths. The remix is not bad, even though it's like most of today's mixes for mainstream artists (boring), a lot of drums with only one melody part. It's not bad. If you have to choose between this or the other cd, get the other one. The Sweet Dreams remix is out of this world.

Wow. What can I say. 'I've got a life' starts out in the traditional, familiar slow and melancholy style. However, when that chorus arrives and that bass kicks in it really lifts the song into another dimension! Lennox's vocals are simply beautiful as ever - she is by far one of the best female artists in the UK. This track has been at the top of my playlist for six months now, and won't be budging any time soon.

Absolute genius! More please!
