Ultimate X is a spectacle, 21 Dec 2005
I love TNA PPVs, and this one was a joy to watch. Here are the highlights:3 Live Kru vs. Michael Shane, Kazarian and the Falen Angel Christopher Daniels: A very exciting 6 man tag to start the show. I really like watching Michael Shane, Kazarian and Daniels in action, and these guys brought a good match out of the Kru, which is rare. Primetime Elix Skipper vs. Sonjay Dutt: The X Division is the crown jewel of TNA, and these 2 X stars almost steal the show. A terrific match. Jeff Hardy vs. Scott Hall: What was special about this match was that Rowdy Roddy Piper was the special referee. Not a very long match, but was quite entertaining while it lasted. It also featured the TNA return of Abyss. America's Most Wanted vs. Team Canada: A really gripping Tag title match, and one of the best matches I have ever seen AMW or Roode and Young involved in. This will have you on the edge of your seat. Ultimate X- Petey Williams vs. AJ Styles vs. Chris Sabin: Anytime you have 3 athletes the caliber of these 3 in the ring together, magic will occur. Add the X Division title hanging on the Ultimae X scaffold, and you have a match of the year candidate. Absolutely amazing match. Other matches include: Dustin Rhodes vs. Kid Kash Raven vs. Erik Watts DDP vs. Monty Brown vs. Kevin Nash Jeff Jarrett vs. Winner of DDP/Brown/Nash, for the NWA World title Overall, this is a great PPV, worth your money for Ultimate X alone. There is also some great backstage footage, and overhead shots of the Ultimate X match. Hooray for TNA!
