Synopsis

The final instalment of Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex definitely goes out with a bang and is probably the best in the series. Things have got a bit out of hand for Section 9 and they are under attack by government forces leading to some of the best action in the series and the splitting up of the team. This volume also sees the truth of the Laughing Man revealed and the return of the Tachikoma think tanks for one last outing. This volume is a great way to end a brilliant series.

With this, the concluding release in this excellent anime series, the Stand Alone Complex finally unravels. From the outlawing of of Section 9, to the face to face meeting with "The Laughing Man", this series has never failed to excite and question your perceptions. Without spoiling the ending, all I can say is if you like anime, manga, sci-fi or action films, you will not be disappointed. Manga Entertainment have announced the forthcoming GitS:SAC 2nd Gig will be hitting the U.K. early next year, and I for one, cannot wait. Awesome!
