I ordered this for my son (age 15)he is very happy with it and found it really easy to set up and use. He didn't really use the instructions just went on instinct and trial and error, but had his entire playlist uploaded and running within half an hour. The sound quality is pretty good, I can't compare it to any of the more expensive models because I haven't heard them but to me its OK. Some reviewers of other MP3's on here are a bit scathing but I can't fault this one. One useful tip tho' to save time is organise the music you want to upload into a playlist then you can select it all and do it all in one hit!

Considerably cheaper than any of its rivals but it lacks some basic features that would have made it far better. Its quite bulky and the buttons are a bit plasticky and fiddly to use. Trying to skip tracks, for example, seems to either start fast forwarding the one you are currently listening to or jump you on several further than you wanted to go. The biggest problem I have, though, is the way it orders the playlist. There is no user playlist facility so your stuck with its alpha numeric sorting. Along with the fact it doesn't support folders, this leads to the user having to manufacture a very specific naming convention if you want your tracks in the right order. Most players of this type sort by time uploaded which is fine when using the reccomended Microsoft media player to upload files, its surprising, therefore, that this player doesn't.

Still, the sound quality is ok, it's fairly light and it comes with a useful USB extension. So cheap, a bit tacky, but (once you've renamed your files) it does the job.

I have had this MP3 player for about 3 months now and whilst things started smoothly it's turned into a disaster. The device is fine to use if you are sitting still and not moving (i.e. at a desk or on a train). However the minute you start moving it randomly cuts out and is incredibly infuriating, especially due to the basic track selection process. I had purchased this in order to listen to music when running but no chance! I spend more time faffing about with the player than actually running so am trading it in for something more robust. I have tried pushing the headphone jack in further as suggested by another reviewer but that's not the fault.

It's easy to transfer music onto, has good sound quality and the battery charge lasts OK. But make sure you're only using it sitting down!
