Experience a newly enhanced gameplay engine that delivers extremely responsive controls and greater level of depth. New physics and animations mean that players will now react more realistically to every tackle, shot or pass of the ball.

For the first time you'll see and feel the joy, anguish and pain of 90 minutes of football in a videogame. Through the power of HD technology the detail of the players is now accurately recreated in fine detail. Examine the threads in the club badge or watch as sweat runs down the player's face during a match.

Stadiums now burst with life and atmosphere. Allnew 3D crowds pack the stands singing authentic anthems sampled from real matches. The edge of the pitch will now also include team coaches pacing the touchline plus the full preparation for every substitution and even the referee's assistants tracking the action as the match unfolds.

This game isn't bad at all!

The improvements here in graphics are huge and the gameplay runs so much more smoothly than previous versions. For those of you that don't know this only has international teams, if you want to have club teams don't bother buying it because they aren't here. This doesn't mean its a dissapiontment though the player models are so realistic and gameplay is as good as ever. It may not have the depth of pro evo but it is still has addictive gameplay and its great to play with friends.

Overall the game is fast flowing and easy to play which makes it fun and for the first football game on the 360 it does the job in the lead up for the world cup. If this is below par as people have said then it can only get better and better and i can't wait for fifa 07.

As a FIFA fan from waaaay back this isn't the best of the series neither is it the worst. The gameplay is a lot harder and as a fifa veteran this is good. 2005 world class was pretty easy once you clocked scoring but so far i'm not even off semi-pro.

control wise, they've got rid of the off the ball thingy and replaced it with a nifty ball control feature - this means you can drag the ball around using your foot as you would in a real game to get past the other team and the quick sub thing lets you only make changes when the ball's out of play (no more fisticuffs wen ur mate decides to make a sub wen uve got a clear run on goal)

In single player mode it's alright but it's more of a game to play ur mates at. ain't tried xbox live as it's not connected to the internet.

It's certainly a good attempt for the new xbox360 format, it's very slick, the graphics are amazing and there are some nice little features but i'm sure it's more of a taster of things to come. once Pro-Evo and the proper Fifa come out for the 360, this will be straight down cash converters!

When you first start playing fifa 06 you think wow look at the graphics and you start a road to fifa world cup. It starts off good too you have to play the actual teams that were in englands qualifying group and play a few small tournaments which fifa have added but then after you've qualified theres nothing to do theres no actual fifa world cup i've heard that fifa are making another game for that theres no club teams or any other seasons to complete i'm hoping that when i get xbox live it'll pick up because ill be playing people across the world but until then what a rip off the games too short
