5.0 out of 5 stars Best 'Artists Compilation Tape' ever!, 25 Mar 2006
By A. Miles (Al Khor, Qatar) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
A fantastic mix of primitive electro, '60s obscurities, inspired cover versions and I don't know what else. The best Artists 'compilation tape' CD I've heard so far. Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Give It A Try, 28 Jul 2006
By NOEL "NOEL" (New York, NY USA) - See all my reviews
You may be interested in this album because of Jarvis Cocker and Steve Mackey. At the same time, you may deter to buying this album knowing that Jarvis Cocker plays no singing part on any of the tracks. However, I think this album is a piece of treasure, rarity. From this album you'll get to hear many that you havent heard before and you'll love them. Give this album a chance!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Selection !!, 7 May 2006
By A. Fernandez "alex murgui" (DF Northside, Mexico) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
It's been masterfully curated, every track and every song has been chosen this way, to take you to some rare passages of not very well known, kinda underground music. If you know who are Steve Mackey and Jarvis Cocker, you got to know about their music, so... if you like that music, you will surely like the work this guy have done. Great artist performing, great selection, great artwork... great album, give it a chance.

2.0 out of 5 stars A tough meal
Firstly I want to say that people who loved this album probably have broader or more academic music tastes than me and I seriously respect their opinion. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Very poor.
This comp. is not a patch on the Saint Ettienne The Trip. I like discovering new music via mix comp.s but was very dissapointed with this one. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars a remarkable compilation
i only bought this because i'm such a big fan of Pulp but even if you're not into them but like discovering rare and unusual music then you should definitely buy this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended
A very eclectic mix of some hidden gems, worth the price for Egyptian Reggae and Gassenhauer alone. Possibly the most varied and interesting compilation I've ever heard.
