As cute as a jellybean, the WALKMAN Bean is equally tasty. The easiest (and smartest) MP3 player you'll ever use, the 512MB Bean comes in two tasty colours: white and black. The WALKMAN Bean comes with an inbuilt pop-up USB plug which means that when you hook it up to your PC, you don't even have to hunt around for a wire as it connects directly. Easy and convenient!

What's more, it's simple and superfast to charge up. Faster than all the other players on the market, you only have to charge it for 3 minutes to get 3 hours of playback from it. Though if you charge it to capacity you'll then be able to use it for 50 hours non-stop. The WALKMAN Bean is perfect in every way.

I had this bought for me for Christmas and for its size I thinks its fantastic.
The controls might take alittle getting used to but once you get past that its great. The battery life is long and the sound quality is one of the best around. The software that comes with it is easy to use and you can sort all your own music on it as well as buy from Sony. You can make your own playlists and get up to 14 albums onto the Bean (512MB)
Only downside I'd say is you can't use Napstar, but otherwise well worth the money!!!!!!

This mp3 player sounds so good. The japanese really got this thing all worked out. The design is great. Ive got the white one and all the buttons are easy to work once youve been with it for ten mins. The sound is good and if you want it charged for 3 hours just plug it in the usb for three mins and you have it charged for 3 hours. The battery is brilliant and all this is from my first impressions from 20 mins of use.

I was given this, and it is a hughe disappointment, the only good thing I can mention is that it is nice to be able to see the album and track when you are searching.
Now to the negative.
The control buttons seems to have a life of their own, and even though I have shut the bean down it does not take a lot for it to go back on in my handbag, so when I come to use it there is no battery.
It is not always obvious where the buttons take you, and it is not intuitive, I had to read the instructions carefully to fully understand what I was doing.
My biggest complaint however is the software which comes with it for loading music and creating playlists etc. This software will not allow you to load music onto the bean unless you are the administrator!!!! So if you are like me on a computer which is set up with a separate administrator account then dont buy this at all as you will have to log off and back on as administrator everytime you want to download anything..... The Ipods can handle this with no problem. So DON'T BOTHER with this Sony, there is much better products out there.
