Album Description
• Continuing Ace’s survey of the King label vocal group output. The three previous volumes have all been well received by doo wop fans.
• As before a mix of stalwart groups such as the Charms, the Royals (later renamed the Midnighters), and the Five Keys are compiled together with rarer acts.
• Despite being the fourth volume there is no drop in quality – there are even seven previously unreleased tracks, unearthed during the Ace team’s recent visit to the Nashville King vaults.
• Compilation and sleeve notes by Gordon Skadberg of Early Bird Records.
