His stunning arrangements are based on the Fula traditions from the south of the country and feature the fiddle, accordion and flute alongside the more familiar West African sounds of the kora, acoustic guitar and percussion. I can honestly say that this album is a true delight to listen to. I never feel the need to write a review because I think an album should sell itself, but this album and artist deserves a good review
Wonderful African melodies, harmonies and traditional instruments added with "western instruments" such as the accordeon, saxophone and violin. Those instruments never dominate but add a wonderful flavour to things. Highly recommended for "world" music lovers
