While the music world has an array of artists few can be as long lasting and graceful as Gwen Stefani! She is a symbol of confidence, empowerment, and vibrant dynamic talent! The songs in this CD are from the album titled, "Love, Angel, Music, Baby". This single comes housed in a slim-line jewel case, is made in Germany, and has the enhanced video for "Cool". If you want to experience music to feel great then this is for you! The in control attitudes combined with the music will get you ready to face anyone or anything! Enjoy and experience the pop/dance/reggae beats!

The first track, "Cool" (Album Version 8:09) is a nice soft pop song with Gwen's vocals sounding sensually strong, distinct, and pleasant in sound. The music flows smoothly with her voice marking the meaning behind the words nicely and eloquently. It's about being happy for your ex-lover!

The second track, "Cool" (Photek Remix 5:19) is not like the first track in the sense that the song opens with faster repetitive banging beats, climaxing echoing siren-type sounds and Gwen's vocals stepping in saying, "I know we could [x5]" This is a nice remix to add a twist to the original version by escalating the pace and adding pulsating energetic beats! There are synthesizers, some techno, and some hints of bass.

The third track, "Hollaback Girl" (Dancehollaback Remix 6:53) by Tony Kanal featuring Elan has reggae hints as well as fast pop styles that go nicely with Gwen's voice and Elan's. While some people may have a tendency to holler back, this song will take those tendencies into more "in control" attitudes as you learn to take charge of yourself! The clapping, fast energetic beats, and words to the song make this enjoyable to sing along, dance, feel lively, or just get into happy moods! There is some Jamaican influence that also brings nice rhythmic feelings to the listener with Elan singing along on many parts.

The fourth track is the enhanced CD portion for the video "Cool" directed by Sophie Muller. This will take you into how a past romance can bring about many memories that were hard to let go but nice to reminisce. While many lovers end their relationships and never talk, this song/video gives the meaning of departure a new statement. It's being happy for your ex-lover. When you watch the video get ready to imagine, fantasize, or just entertain your romantic senses!
